Get Your Doctor's Approval

Before you start any sort of post-baby workout, it's important to talk to your doctor to make sure it's okay for you to begin exercising again. A good rule of thumb is to wait three weeks if you gave birth naturally, and up to two months if you had a C section, advises Geralyn Coopersmith, Director of the Equinox Fitness Training Institute.
